Life always has its own plans

Well, I'm pretty much healed from my February car accident. Just some bruised bones left that take a while. Unfortunately, hubby was admitted to the hospital last week and had quadruple bypass surgery last Saturday. I've been running on adrenaline and little sleep since then but he's doing well and should be home in a day or two. I'll be caring for him and doing his portion of the chores for 2-3 months, until he's healed enough to do things on his own again. He takes care of himself and is not even 60 years old yet so we were in no way expecting something like this. But heart problems run in his paternal side so I guess it was inevitable.

No matter how careful we are about planning things, life always gets its own way.  2023 has not been kind to my little family and we're looking forward to just getting through to the end of this year and moving on toward a brighter future.
