This has been a trying year but we're still moving along and doing our best. Our elderly rescue dog now has dementia so she can't be left alone, which means spending a lot of time at home caring for her. Hubby and I take turns whenever we need to leave the house for appointments, classes and such, but our fur baby is still having more good days than bad, so we're just waiting for her to let us know when it's time. It's very hard but she deserves the best final weeks/months we can give her. She's somewhere around 16 or even older now and we're grateful that we've had 4 years with her already.
Yes, I'm still writing, though I don't get much uninterrupted time right now. I'm only working on two books at the moment. Once I have more time, I'll be able to add the new series I've been planning to start on. We haven't had a vacation in years, so that will be the first thing we do. It's bittersweet but we'll get through this.
I hope those of you who are still reading these blogs are having a much better summer. I hope you're still reading books and passing on the love of reading to the next generation. I'll be back to my normal workload eventually and I'll blog whenever my next book is available to purchase. Thanks to those who are still buying my books and hanging in there with me.
