Another tough year but our hot desert summer is almost over.

The desert summers are hot, no other way to put it. but we're finally headed toward cooler months. By mid-October, we'll have wonderful weather again and it will last until around the end of May. I hope everyone in this hemisphere has been staying cool this summer.

We've had a couple more medical setbacks this year but I believe we're finally to a point of leaving all of that behind. A few more appointments to go, but things are looking up so far. 

I've been writing, but with everything we've been through recently, not as often as I'd hoped. We've also had to put off our home renos, while we take care of our disabled and chronically ill fur baby. Rescue dogs need a lot of attention as it is, but one with health problems needs even more. We do our best to keep her as healthy as she can be with our vet's assistance, and reassure her that we're here for her until the end. 

Halloween is my favorite holiday so I'm excited that it's only 2 months away now. It's nice to have something to look forward to these days. Stay safe and try to find your happiness in this troubled world.
